This zero-leak solenoid valve incorporates a polyimide ball seat to eliminate leakage. The valve is acceptance tested to guarantee leakage of zero bubbles of nitrogen per minute with 500 to 3000 psid of pressure on the inlet port. The valve’s 2-way, pressure assist to close configuration offers added safety in the event of a failure. This design utilizes MultiSeal® technology, eliminating the need for O-rings, simplifying port layout, and offering significant space and weight savings.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
Always verify flow calculations by experiment.
