LHL Series Latching 2-Way Control Solenoid Valve

This small (7 mm), low power, latching solenoid valve is ideal for directional control of gases or piloting samples in battery-operated, heat-sensitive pneumatic applications. Thanks to its magnetically latching design, the valve will hold its flow state without power and only requires a momentary electrical pulse to switch state. With consistent, extremely reliable performance and low leakage, this valve offers high value across its cycle life. Each valve is customizable and 100% tested to ensure performance.

1The valve will switch to and remain in the state indicated when a 10-30 ms electrical pulse is applied at the rated voltage and polarity. Magnetically latching valves require drive circuitry capable of reversing the polarity to their electrical pins to provide bi-directional current flow. Refer to to the Latching Valve Circuit section on our Drive Circuits page for additional information and example circuitry.
2Reference the flow curve under the product information tab for flow rate at varying pressures.
3Maximum differential pressure across ports. Our standard 2-way valves are designed for unidirectional flow, where the highest absolute pressure should be maintained at Port A. Bidirectional and reverse-flow valves (Port B to A) are also available upon request.

1Several standard manifolds are available to ease prototype setup. They are available in mounting denominations of single valve (1x), three valves (3x) and eight valves (8x). Combine these denominations or plug unused ports to configure the setup for your specific application. Manifold part numbers include the manifold and secondary retention bracket only. All solenoid valves are sold separately. Alternate materials and customized manifold designs are available upon request.
