Follow The Lee Company
This high pressure jet flow restrictor incorporates multiple orifices in series, with successive orifices on the centerline and displaced from it. This forces fluid to “bend” as it passes through the unit. The combined effect is an increase in the passage size for a given Lohm rate, making the restrictor more resistant to clogging due to contamination. Additionally, having the orifices in series makes it less susceptible to cavitation. It is protected with two integral safety screens for bidirectional flow and is available calibrated to a +/- 5% tolerance.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
