Follow The Lee Company
This flow restrictor incorporates multiple spinner orifice discs in series to increase restriction or Lohm rate. Spinner discs reverse the direction of the fluid. The combined effect is an increase in the passage size for a given Lohm rate, making the restrictor more resistant to clogging due to contamination. Additionally, having the orifices in series make the restrictor less susceptible to cavitation. Rugged screens protect the orifice in both flow directions.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
