This threadless, cartridge safety poppet pressure relief valve is designed to provide fast opening rates, stable flows, low hysteresis, quiet operation, and high cracking pressures. The 5.5 mm relief valve’s locking end uses the field-proven Lee Controlled Expansion Principle to provide secure retention and eliminate the need for threads, O-rings, or secondary retainers. This direct-acting relief valve features all stainless steel construction, making it compatible with a wide range of fluids. The valve is 100% functionally tested to ensure performance.

The Lee Company has developed the Lohm Laws for defining and measuring resistance to fluid flow. The Lohm is defined such that 1 Lohm will flow 100 GPM of water with a pressure drop of 25 psi at a temperature of 80°F.
Always verify flow calculations by experiment.
